A candidate applying for the IBPS CRP/Bank PO Examination must be one of the following which are listed below if you come under any of these points you are eligible to appear for the exam.

1. Citizen of India
2. The subject of Nepal or Bhutan
3. Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement
4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, or Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India.

IBPS PO 2024 Exam Pattern

The IBPS PO exam structure 2024 details the kinds of questions, sections, how long it lasts, and the number of questions. It includes two main parts: Tier 1, called the IBPS Preliminary Exam, and Tier 2, known as the IBPS Mains Exam. Each part has specific time limits for its sections. The IBPS PO Interview does not have a specific topic to cover. However, it is recommended to concentrate on general knowledge, current affairs and key finance-related subjects while preparing for the Probationary Officer Interview.

The interview carries a weightage of 100 marks, and a minimum score of 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) is required to qualify for this phase. The final result is determined by the marks obtained in both the Interview and Main exam, with a weightage ratio of 20:80 respectively.

On the day of the IBPS PO exam, candidates must follow these guidelines, Candidates are required to wear masks throughout the exam. They can bring essential items like hand sanitizer (50ml), a pen, gloves, and a transparent water bottle. It’s mandatory to have the Aarogya Setu app installed on their mobile phones. Candidates should arrive at the exam centre as per their assigned slot to avoid overcrowding. They must carry two passport-size photographs along with their admit card. Latecomers won’t be allowed to take the exam. Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators, pagers, and pen drives are strictly prohibited inside the exam centre. Candidates should also refrain from bringing stationery items like textbooks, papers, pencil boxes, scales, or writing pads.
