This year, 11 participating banks have announced a total of 4455 vacancies through the Common Recruitment Process for Recruitment of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees(CRP PO/MT-XIV).

IBPS PO Exam is conducted annually to hire Probationary Officers (PO) for public sector banks in India. Before applying, make sure candidates meet the eligibility criteria set by IBPS. IBPS PO Recruitment 2024 Important Dates

Interested and eligible candidates considering the IBPS PO 2024 exam should know all the important dates. All important dates including registration dates and exam dates have been released with the notification PDF. The online registration process has started on 1 August and will continue till 21 August 2024.  The following are the key dates to remember for the IBPS PO 2024 recruitment process:

IBPS PO Vacancy 2024

The total number of vacancies for the IBPS PO 2024 exam has been announced along with the notification PDF. This year, the total vacancy count is 4455 which has been distributed across 11 public sector banks in India. Aspirants should carefully review this section to understand the opportunities available in their preferred banks category-wise.

IBPS PO 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the IBPS PO 2024 examination:

• Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Additionally, they should have the operating and working knowledge of computer systems.
• Age Limit: The minimum age for application is 20 years, and the maximum age is 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
• Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, etc., with the intention of permanently settling in India.

IBPS PO 2024 Selection Process

The final selection is based on the cumulative performance in all three stages:

• Preliminary Exam: Qualifying in nature
• Main Exam: Weightage in the final merit list
• Interview: Weightage in the final merit list

The IBPS PO selection process is rigorous because of its position in India’s Banking System. Candidates have to go through a three-stage selection process i.e. Prelims, Mains & Interviews.

• Preliminary Exam: This is a qualifying exam consisting of three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Each section has 20 minutes with a total of 100 marks.
• Main Exam: This consists of Objective Tests (Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, English Language, Data Analysis & Interpretation) and a Descriptive Test (Letter Writing & Essay).
• Interview: Candidates who clear the main exam are called for a personal interview conducted by participating banks and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each state/UT.

The application process for IBPS PO 2024 is entirely online. Candidates can follow these steps to apply:

• Visit the official website: Go to the official website of IBPS (www.ibps.in).
• Registration: Click on the “New Registration” link and enter basic information to generate a provisional registration number and password (sent to registered mobile no. and email ID).
• Fill Application Form: Log in with the registration number and password to complete the application form. Fill in personal, educational, and other required details accurately.
• Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration as per the specifications mentioned in the notification.
• Pay Application Fee: Pay the application fee online through net banking, credit card, or debit card. The fee is non-refundable and varies according to the candidate’s category.
• Submit Application: Review all details carefully and submit the application form. Save a copy of the submitted form and the e-receipt of the fee payment for future reference.
