IBPS PO IX Interview Experience- Kritika Dwivedi

My name is kritika. I am from muzaffarnagar and I am going to share my interview experience which I had on 02-02-2020 at BIRD lucknow.
I was alloted under panel-ll in morning shift at 8.30 am.

Place of Interview- Bankers Institute of Rural Development – (BIRD) , Lucknow

As we reached the venue before the time, we were asked to sit in auditorium and we were given a form in which all the details of documents should have been filled. Then DV and biometric gone smoothly and we were taken towards the interview room, my turn came and I was 7th candidate.
Before entering I asked permission and I entered to the room, there were five members in the panel( three males and two females). I greeted all the members and they asked me to sit and here the interview goes on.
First male panelist(M1): (I think he was the chairman) So what is your name?
Answer: I replied
M1: you have a good name but what it means?
Answer: I answered and they all smiled.
M1: tell me what you have done in graduation?
Answer: sir I have done my graduation in Arts.
M1: what were your subjects?
Answer: sir my subjects were Economics, English and Political science.
M3(third male panelist):ohh these are very good subjects.
M1: when you completed your graduation?
Answer: sir in 2019
M1: are you doing something now?
Answer: yes sir, MA in english.
M1: why not in economics, are you not interested in it?
Answer: I replied why I choose english.
M1: then why do you want to come in banking sector?
Answer: I replied as I was prepared for it.
M1: tell me what you have prepared for interview?
Answer: sir, I prepared about myself, about the work profile of PO, about banking structure etc.
M1: so tell me the difference between nationalised bank and commercial bank?
Answer: I explained.
M2(second male member): So is sbi a nationalised or commercial bank?
Answer: I answered
M2: how much stake of government is needed for nationalised bank?
Answer: I replied sir more than 50 percent.(after some cross questions he seemed to be satisfied).
M3: so tell us what is your favourite subject?
Answer: english
M3: oh good, tell me about figure of speeches?
Answer: I explained it with its kinds.
M3: Do you know about alliteration?
Answer: I explained with example.(and he was satisfied with my answer and said very good beta).
F1(female panelist): then she asked me have you ever gone in kitchen?
Answer: I replied yes mam, I love cooking.
M2: He asked in between that can you differentiate the dough of chapatis and pooris?
Answer:(I think it gone very random, as I have never expected this kind of question in a interview) still I replied and it caused some light moments and it made them laugh, I also smiled gently.
M1:ok beta, thank you…You may go.
