Hello All, I am Sanchari Mukherjee from West Bengal. I am a Maths graduate and was always interested to work in a bank. Most general line graduates will know the pain of not being suitable for a lot of jobs, hence my focus was always on securing a Government job.
My journey sounds something like this:
I started my preparation in 2017. I first applied for SBI PO 2017. Couldn’t qualify prelims. Then, my sob stories with some exams are listed below:
NIACL AO- Out in Prelims.
IBPS RRB PO- Out in Prelims.
IBPS PO – Out in Prelims.
I guess at one point after your graduation even one unsuccessful attempt makes you depressed. So I started asking myself what was lacking in me. Took various mock tests and got less marks. Felt ashamed that I can’t even crack prelims.
Meanwhile, I was diagnosed with severe eye cataract, which bothered me since childhood. Had surgery. Couldn’t study for long hours and ended up with severe feelings of total blurriness and headaches.
In 2018, after a lot of mock tests and watching many motivational videos, I started to note my own weaknesses. Worked on them. Challenged myself that if I want it, I have to get it. Then:
SBI PO- Couldn’t qualify mains for 2.5 marks.
Canara Bank PO (PGDBF)- Out by marginal marks than General cutoff which was 130.
NIACL AO- Qualified Mains and waiting for the interview in April!!
IBPS Clerk VIII – Finally selected. Got provisional allotment to Bank of Maharashtra!!!
Though there is a lot more to achieve for me yet, I am happy as of now because I have been able to achieve my results through some hardships. Thanks to Adda247 for being the best friend during my preparation. Their mocks, videos, strategies and daily gk have given me unbounded confidence.
I just feel that luck matters sometimes, but very less. But there is absolutely NO alternative to hard work and dedication. Many people will mock you, try to make you feel low, ridicule you, but the point is to keep faith in yourself throughout.
Go achieve it!!!
Thanks, Sanchari Mukherjee for sharing your Success Story with us. Adda247 wishes you a good luck for your bright future ahead.
