IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2020
The IBPS Clerk Selection Procedure has been divided into two sections that are Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam. There is no interview round for Clerk post. The candidate must have a basic knowledge of computers and have completed their graduation. The candidate have to clear Prelims exam and then Mains exam to get selected for Clerical post in Public Sector Banks. Read out each section in details;
IBPS Clerk Prelims 2020
Prelims is the first level of selection procedure and is just a qualifying test to get selected for next level ,i.e. Mains exam. The prelims marks are not counted in the ultimate selection for Clerk post. The test is conducted online in an Objective type exam which is divided into three sections. The exam consist of 100 Questions for 100 Marks and with time duration of 60 minutes. There is a negative marking for 0.25 marks per each wrong attempt.

IBPS Clerk Mains 2020
The IBPS Clerk Mains exam consists a total of 190 questions for 200 marks to be solved in 160 minutes. The sections included in Mains exams are Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude. There is a negative marking for 0.25 marks per incorrect answer and the candidate have to score passing marks section-wise and overall to get selected. This scores in Mains exam will decide the final selection of the candidate and there would no further round afterthat.

Once the list of candidates qualifying Mains exam is out, the selected candidates will be called for a documentation verification after which the candidate will be a part of government banking sector. Below is the list of documents that the authority would ask to bring for verification procedure.
