IBPS AFO Eligibility Criteria 2024

The candidates considering applying for the IBPS AFO 2024 recruitment process must ensure they are eligible on the conditions given by the IBPS for the AFO post. The eligibility criteria are in terms of Nationality, Educational Qualification & Age Limit. The details regarding the eligibility criteria are given below.

• Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian citizen or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan or a refugee from Tibet (came to India before January 1, 1962) or Indian Origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, etc., with the intention of permanently settling in India.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a four-year degree (graduation) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Dairy Science, Fishery Science, Pisciculture, Agriculture Marketing & Cooperation, Co-operation & Banking, Agro-Forestry, Forestry, Agricultural Biotechnology, Food Science, Agriculture Business Management, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering, Sericulture or Fisheries Engineering.
• Age Limit: A candidate must fall under the age limit as prescribed by the IBPS. The age relaxation is provided as per the government rules.

The IBPS AFO exam is conducted through a three-stage selection process i.e. Preliminary, Mains & Interview.

The prelims exam includes three sections Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude & English consisting of 150 questions of 125 marks to be completed in 120 minutes.
