IBPS has activated the Online Registration and Application Form filling Link. No matter how simple it may seem, that an aspirant is just required to fill in his/her details in the application form, but you need to be really careful with smallest of details. Every year we receive many emails of students and aspirant who end up making some mistakes while filling the form and then have to figure out ways to get an affidavit for corrections. Thus, bankersadda.com brings to you a basic guide on how you should fill in the form and on what details you should be really careful.
First and Foremost thing: Please Note Down and save your Registration Number and Password positively once you register yourself on the portal for this recruitment. Make sure you have a screenshot of email or you click a photograph or by any means simply just ensure that you DO NOT LOSE THE Registration Number and Password.
1. Your name, fathers’ name mothers name DOB and such details should be the same as that in your 10th, 12th, graduation mark sheets and degrees.
2. Your name and other details should also match with your ID proof- Adhar Card, Voter ID, Passport etc. You’ll be required to take any valid ID proof with you while appearing for the examinations.
3. Please be careful while filling in your percentage and year of passing. These details should match with whats on your mark sheets and degree.
4. The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semester(s)/year(s) by aggregate maximum marks (in all the subjects irrespective of honours / optional / additional optional subject, if any) and multiplying by 100. This will be applicable for those Universities also where Class / Grade is decided on basis of Honours marks only. The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignored i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%.
5. Please be very careful while selecting your CATEGORY!! No correction can be done later if you complete the application filling process selecting the wrong category.
6. This year in Application form there is a new addition of “UPLOADS” field, you’ll have to upload an image of your thumb impression and a handwritten declaration.
Guidelines for Photo, Signature, Left Thumb Impression and Hand Written Declaration Uploading
Photograph Image: (4.5cm × 3.5cm)
a recent passport style colour picture and make sure that the picture is in colour, taken against a light-coloured, preferably white, background.
Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
Size of file should be between 20kb–50 kb
Signature, left thumb impression and hand-written declaration Image: Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
– The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.
– The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink.
– The applicant has to write the declaration in English clearly on a white paper with black ink
– The signature, left thumb impression and the hand written declaration should be of the applicant and not by any other person
– Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb for signature and left thumb impression.
– For handwritten declaration size of file should be 20kb – 50 kb
– Signature / Handwritten declaration in CAPITAL LETTERS shall NOT be accepted.
The text for the handwritten declaration is as follows –
“I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
The above-mentioned handwritten declaration has to be in the candidate’s handwriting and in English only. If it is written and uploaded by anybody else or in any other language, the application will be considered as invalid.
Upon completing the Application filling process please SAVE A COPY of your Final Submitted Application for this recruitment. You will require this copy of your application form in later stages of the recruitment process.
