Understand the Exam Pattern and Syllabus
Know the Exam Structure and pattern. The RBI Grade B exam consists of three phases:
Phase 1: General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Data Interpretation.
Phase 2: Economic & Social Issues, English (Descriptive), and Finance & Management.
Phase 3: Interview
Familiarize yourself with the detailed syllabus and analyze your weak areas. Focus more on the topics which require more efforts.
Create a Realistic Timetable
Start by calculating how much time you can dedicate to study after work. Try to dedicate at least 2-4 hours daily. This can be in the form of one hour in the morning and a couple of hours in the evening. Maximize the use of weekends, and week offs. As we say in hindi “kuch paane ke liye kuch khona padta hai”. So you will have to let go of a few leisure activities during your week offs and will have to use that time for an intensive study session.
Use Time Efficiently
As you know time and time waits for none or the time lost can never be brought back and since you have only a limited time available you will have to use it efficiently. Use your office breaks to read newspapers, revise notes practice a few questions.
