How is JAIIB useful for the journey of Clerk To PO?

As informed above, JAIIB is useful for all the candidates who are members of the organization, and if you are giving the exams of JAIIB then you will be eligible for the promotion as well as for the increment.
If you get posted in a clerical cadre, and if you give the exam of JAIIB, after passing the examination you will be eligible for the promotion, and you will get the same.
A clerk cannot be internally recruited as a Probationary Officer, since POs are directly recruited. However, clerks can shift to the officer cadre as TOs (Trainee Officers) or JMGS – 1 (Junior Management Grade Officer Scale -1).
The perks and salary received by a Trainee Officer are equivalent to that of a PO. Once the clerk is promoted he’s put under probation for two years. After the probation period, the TO is either promoted to MMGS-II or back to Clerical cadre based on his/her performance.
A clerk becomes eligible for an internal exam after, (i) 3 years of service, along with completion of the CAIIB (Certified Association of the Indian Institute of Bankers) exam, or (ii) 4 years of service, along with completion of the JAIIB (Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers) exam, or (iii) minimum 6 years of service.
