Happy Women’s Day!!

The world, every year, celebrates 8th of March as International Women’s Day. It is the day when we cogitate on women’s irrepressible zeal for the self-aggrandizement and honour their courageous acts and remarkable achievements in their individual endeavours. 

The day finds its roots in the activities of labour movements at the turn of the twentieth century in North America and across Europe. And today, the day has assumed a new global dimension for women and marks a call to action for attaining gender parity.

“Think equal, build smart, innovate for change” is the 2019 theme of United Nations for International Women’s Day 2019. It focuses on innovative ways in which we can advance gender equality and the empowerment of women, particularly in the areas of social protection systems, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure.

International Women’s Day calls for the acknowledgement of hard work, industriousness, endeavours, accomplishments and triumph of every single woman from an ambitious professional to a lovely homemaker. This women’s day, embrace your true self that makes you who you are.
