Happy Eid al-Adha 2020:- Eid-al-Adha is called the Festival of Qurbani. Eid-al-Adha is also known as Bakra Eid and One of the important festivals of Muslims across the World. This Year Eid-al-Adha is celebrated on 31st July 2020. It is celebrated at the ending of Hajj, a yearly hajj to Mecca which Muslims are required to embark on once in their life. id al-Adha is marked on the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah. Eid al-Adha has a special Importance in Islam people celebrate it by prayers, exchanging cloths, and gifts by enjoying a feast together. Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated to remember the Ibrahim Abraham’s devotion to sacrifice his son Ismael on the order from the almighty.
History and Significance of Eid-al-Adha
It is known to be the festival of Sacrifice, This day is remembered for Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion and faith in Allah. God had once demand Prophet Ibrahim sacrifice the most lovable thing to him to prove his love and faith, so Prophet Ibrahim decided to sacrifice his only son. When Prophet Ibrahim was about to assassinate his son, God sent his angel Jibra’il (Gabriel) to replace the son with a goat. since then Bakra Eid is celebrated to remember Prophet Ibrahim’s belief in God.
How Eid-al-Adha Celebrated?
The festival is celebrated by offering a male goat; it is divided into three parts- the first part offer to relatives, friends, and neighbors; the second to the poor and needy; the third is for the family. Delightful dishes like mutton biryani and mutton korma and desserts like kheer and sheer khurma are made on this day. and People celebrate this with love and togetherness with each other.
