Happy Diwali From Bankersadda Team

Diwali, the festival of lights has finally arrived and with it, it has got a warm festive cheer, sweet surprise, and hope. The name “Diwali” was derived from the Sanskrit word Dipavali, which means the row or series of lights. The mythological significance of this festival is that the people of Ayodhya celebrated the homecoming of Lord Rama who returned after 14 years of exile with his brother Laxman and wife Seeta on this day. The term is the amalgamation of Sanskrit words Dipa (which means lamp, light, or lantern) and Avail (which denotes a row or a line). The festival is celebrated across the country and is symbolized by diyas and lights. People light diyas and decorate their homes with lights and rangolis. People across the country also prepare a number of delicious recipes, wear traditional Indian clothes, and worship Lord Ganesha and Goddess Laxmi on this day to attain good fortune and prosperity in their lives. The lighting of Diyas signifies that our beautiful mind needs to be enlightened and all the negativities like hatred, jealousy, greed, lust, and anger burn out with the same. We hope our students will take up the social responsibility of celebrating the festival with peace, without polluting their surroundings, and also avoid any gatherings considering the ongoing epidemic in the nation.

May God bless you all with lots of happiness, prosperity, and contentment in your life. Have a lovely and safe festive day.

Happy Diwali!!
