Unlock 4 Guidelines: The Ministry of Home Affairs has finally announced the guidelines for Unlock 4.0. on its official website @mha.gov.in In Unlock 4, school, colleges and education institutes remain prohibited whereas there metro rail services are allowed to operate from 7th September 2020. Certain relaxation on entertainment and sports activities have also been introduced in Unlock 4.0. Guidelines for Unlock 4.0 Announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs
Metro to start from 7 September- The Metro rail service which was suspended since March 22 will restart operations from 7th September. This adds a certain relief to the worries of aspirants who were worried about how they will commute for IBPS RRB Exams and other examinations.
Public gathering with an upper limit of 100 persons to be permitted from 21st September 2020- this includes social, academic, sports, entertainment, cultural, religious, political and other congregations.
Marriages to have an upper limit of 50 guests till 20th September and 100 people will be allowed after that- The ministry has mentioned in the unlock 4 guidelines that marriage gatherings must not have the number of guest exceeding 50 and funeral or last rites related gathering should not exceed 20 till 20th September. After which there will be an upper limit of 100 persons for such gatherings
Openair theatres will be allowed to open from 21st September 2020– Cinema halls, swimming pools, entertainment parks to remain closed in unlock 4.
Lockdown in containment zones– all containment zones will have lockdown till 30th September 2020 and there shall be intensive contact tracing, house-to-house surveillance and other clinical interventions as required in such zones.
Teaching and non-teaching staff to be called to school in non-containment zones– States/UTs may permit upto 50% of teaching and non-teaching staff to be called at schools at a time for online teaching/ telecounselling and related work from 21st September.
Schools and colleges to remain close till 30th September 2020- but students of classes 9 to 12 may be permitted to visit schools in non-containment zones only, on voluntary basis for taking guidance from their teachers from 21st September. Written consent of their parents or guardians will be required.
