GIC Assistant Manager 2019: Check Complete Exam Analysis

GIC Assistant Manager 2019 exam is over now. Candidates who have given the examination today must be hoping for a positive result. Now, this is the time for gic assistant manager exam analysis and review. The question paper was quite moderate this year. Aspirants who are expecting good results must be looking for detailed analysis of the question paper. GIC Assistant Manager 2019 exam had two parts; first was the objective test of 120 marks which had 2 Parts. Part A Professional Knowledge Test in the relevant discipline which had 40 questions. Part B which had 80 questions, 20 questions each of Test of Numerical Ability & Computer Literacy, English Language, Reasoning, and General Awareness. The second was a descriptive test of 30 marks.

Part A-Professional Knowledge–(Finance/Accounts)

This is exam analysis of Professional Knowledge(Accounts). Following were the types of Questions asked.

• Minium Directors in Public Limited Company
• Accounting Standards are issued by 3.section 8 of Companies Act.
• There are 3 Numericals.

Part B

GIC Assistant Manager Exam Analysis Numerical Ability and Computer Literacy
The Exam contains Quant and Computer section in same section. There were questions wrong number series, Data Sufficiency, etc. A significant number of questions were asked from the miscellaneous part. There are 20 question in Numerical Ability and Computer Literacy.There are 10 questions of computer literacy and 10 Questions of Numerical Ability.

GIC Assistant Manager Exam Analysis Reasoning Section

Reasoning Section contains Puzzle, Inference based questions and Syllogism questions. Following are the types of Puzzles and Seating Arrangement asked.

• Parallel Seating Arrangement (7 each side, North-South)
• Circular Based Arrangement(7 Persons, Inward facing, 2 Variables)
• Scheduling Based Arrangement

GIC Assistant Manager Exam Analysis English Section

The English Language section consisted of Paragraph type Reading comprehensions. The RC was based on topics( Japanese Technology).

General Awareness:

The GA section contains 5 static Gk questions. 15 questions were asked from Current Affairs. Current Affairs questions were from July, August, and September.

Note- Above Total Attempts are from objective type paper. Descriptive section is not included in the over-all attempts

Part C-DESCRIPTIVE TEST

Part C is a descriptive Section. There are 3 types of Questions

1. Essay Writing-150 Words( Misconception about Insurance), How NRIs Contributes towards our Economy
2. Precise Writing-100 words(Insurance Awareness)
3. Paragraph based inference
