SBI Clerk Prelims 2020: The State Bank Of India is currently conducting prelims exam for the recruitment process of SBI Clerk 2020. The Prelims exam for Junior Associate( Clerk) started on 22nd February 2020. 29th Feb and 1st March 2020, were the second and third day of the SBI Clerk Prelims 2020. So far, if we summarize all the shifts of all the days the exam level is Easy-Moderate. The good attempts taking into account of all the days in all the shifts ranged from 74-84.

Numerical Ability:
Overview
The Numerical Ability section was Easy-Moderate in all the shifts of SBI Clerk prelims 2020. The numerical ability section followed balanced approach as almost questions were asked from all the traditional topics. DI was asked. Wrong number & missing number series dominated in all the shifts of SBI Clerk prelims 2020. Arithmetic questions were asked in all the shifts. Quadratic equations were also seen in majority of the shifts.
Verdict
Since the numerical ability section revolved around traditional topics. So, it is advisable to go through the above topics once. Based on the above pattern, the numerical ability section will test your speed taking into account accuracy.
Reasoning Ability:
Overview
The overall level of Reasoning Ability section was Easy-Moderate. 3-4 sets of puzzle & seating arrangement questions were asked in almost all the shifts. Out of 35 questions, 50% questions were based on Puzzle & seating arrangement. The remaining questions were based on traditional topics like blood relation, direction sense, inequality, numeric series, alphabet based etc. The Reasoning Ability section of SBI Clerk prelims 2020 was a cakewalk for candidates having a strong hold on basic concepts.
Verdict
According to your perspective, divide the reasoning section into two halves i.e. Puzzles / Seating Arrangement & miscellaneous topics. Solve the half in which you feel most confident. Moreover, you can also use switching technique i.e. solving one puzzle & subsequently solving random topics. Studies have found that, this method improves efficiency.
English Language:
Overview
The English language section was Easy as compared to its counterparts. Out of 30 questions, 9-12 questions were based on reading comprehension. The remaining questions evaluated basic grammar skills of the candidates like error detection, single fillers, sentence rearrangement, word usage etc.
Verdict
Revise basic grammar concepts and approach to solve all the traditional topics. Do practice 2-4 Reading Comprehension sets to enhance your speed. Remeber, English Language section will help you to sail through SBI Clerk prelims 2020.
