Oprah Winfrey well-known philanthropist and sometimes ranked as the most influential woman in the world quoted “Every stumble is not a fall, and every fall does not mean failure.” She was making us realize how every fall does not cause you pain but makes you realize life isn’t about stopping but to rise again and get going.
LIC AAO released its most awaited result for the preliminary exams. It was like a breath of relief for most of the students. Selected students surely would have been satisfied and will be excited for the mains to showcase their talent once again. We surely hope they do absolutely well to pass the mains as well.
But those who couldn’t clear the cut-off shouldn’t think it as a stoppage for life. It is natural to be disheartened by the news of not being able to get through the first door. But what was not achieved once can surely be conquered in the next attempt. The thing about failure is that it may taste bitter but will deliver the promising outcomes if you don’t stop and keep putting one step after another. This is the maturity to deal with failure in a positive manner. Take it as enlightenment and learn from it. Work harder so that the mistake doesn’t get repeated. The only way is forward, with this thought in mind, start again. Push yourself away from the gloominess and look for other opportunities that are waiting for you. Johnny Cash quoted “You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don’t try to forget the mistakes, but you don’t dwell on it. You don’t let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space.”
We all once or more have faced the fear of lacking behind, not being able to deliver up to the mark. But that is not what we can take as a summary of our life. Like every sunrise and sunset have a different story, you will also have a different color of pages in the book of your life, they won’t match with one another but, would be complimenting each other. The same way an unsuccessful event will shape the success of your life as well. You get to know about your drawbacks so that you can mend them and be better each day, every day.
With this we wish you learn from your ineffectual attempt and turn it into a great hard learned lesson. Make use of it and excel tomorrow. It is never too late to recognize the power you dwell. And say every day as Og Mandino said:
“I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness because it shows me the stars.”
