ESIC UDC Mains General Intelligence and Reasoning
ESIC UDC Mains exam had 50 questions for 50 marks in the General intelegence and reasoning section. Overall the level of this section was Moderate. There were a total of 6 sets of puzzles and seating arrangement:
- Linear seating arrangement (parallel rows)- 6 people on each side
- Square seating arrangement- facing inside and outside
- Uncertain number of people facing north in a row
- Random arrangement- 9 people, their posts in an office
- Day based puzzle
- Month based puzzles, 10 people, 2 dates and 5months

ESIC UDC Mains English Language
The level of English language was also moderate. As per the review shared by students who appeared for ESIC UDC Mains exam, many questions in this section were of a simillar level to that of SBI PO Mains. There was 1 set of reading comprehension with 10 questions and the passage was on a article related to micro-plastic waste and pollution. There were also 2-3 questions of synonym and antonym with RC.

ESIC UDC Mains General Awareness
The level of GA was easy to modearte. Majority of the questions were from isurance awareness and current affairs. Current affairs covered near about 50 to 60% of questions and 10 to 12 questions were of banking and static awareness. Few questions related to history and static awareness were also there.
