We all are cognizant that Indian general election 2019 is scheduled to be held from 11 April to 19 May 2019 in seven phases to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha. While some consider voting as an opportunity to be a part of decision-making that affects the whole country, others notoriously neglect its importance. The significance of voting is lost in the hustle and bustle of city life.
Voting is not just a way to make our voices heard but it also plays an important part in making the difference.
Also, it gives us an opportunity to change the government we are unhappy with and save the government we are content with. If interested in none, the Government of India has made a provision for such voters to exercise their votes as well. NOTA, which stands for None of the Above allows us to vote for none of the parties taking part in the elections.
