ECGC PO Exam Pattern 2024

The ECGC PO 2024 Exam has two parts: an Objective Test and a Descriptive Paper. The Objective Test, which is 2 hours and 20 minutes covers Reasoning, English, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude of 200 marks. Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and will lose 0.25 marks for each incorrect one. The descriptive paper is 40 minutes long and includes essay writing and precis writing for 40 marks. After the Objective Test candidates will start the Descriptive Paper where candidates will type the answers on the computer and must pass the cut-off for both tests to proceed in the selection process.

The ECGC PO Exam Pattern 2024 for the Objective Test includes five sections with a total of 200 questions and which carries total 200 marks. The exam duration is of 140 minutes. For Each correct answer candidates will get 1 mark, while there is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. ECGC PO Exam Pattern 2024 For Descriptive Test

The ECGC PO Exam Pattern 2024 for the Descriptive Test consists of two sections: Essay Writing and Precis Writing. Candidates need to answer a total of 2 questions and  choosing 1 from each section. The Descriptive Test is of 40 marks and candidates will get 40 minutes to complete it. This test helps evaluate candidates writing skills effectively.

Candidates who qualify for the online examination will be called for the next stage of the recruitment process, i.e. Interview. Through the interview call letter, candidates will get to know the interview date, time, and venue for the ECGC PO Interview 2024. The salient features of ECGC PO Interview 2024 are as follows:

• ECGC will conduct the ECGC PO Interview 2024 in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bangalore.
• The total marks allotted for the ECGC PO Interview is 60.
• The minimum qualifying mark for General/EWS category candidates is 40% and that for SC/ST/OBC/ PWBD candidates is 35%.
• The weightage of online examination and interview is in the ratio 80:20 respectively.
