With this sudden increase in the COVID-19 cases, things have started to look bleak again. Where we were starting to enjoy normality and getting our freedom back, this past week or two have made it so that we have had to exercise the same precautions as before and limit ourselves again. The lack of resources and poor provisions have only seemed to make the conditions worse.
It is natural that all this is bound to affect your mental state and hamper your study preparations which were also starting to get their rhythm back. If you find yourself too worried about the state of the country, or your loved ones or family, just know that these hard times are bound to pass. As we all come together to save our fellow humans, we will get through this adversity soon enough.
Do not worry or feel the burden of the world, if your preparations have slowed down and you are struggling to get more and more hours of a study done. Pressurizing yourself during these times will only backfire and make your efficiency low. Instead, focus on being regular with the preparations, even if you only get a small amount of prep work done. Consistency and regularity can become your biggest assets in these times if practiced properly.
To conclude and to remind you of what is important here – don’t panic or stress about the times we have found ourselves in, make sure you take breaks from the news and your social media overwatch, keep your preparation consistent even if it happens in small amounts and take care of yourself, most importantly.
