DILATORY (adjective) : धीमा
Meaning: slow to act
Synonyms: sluggish, slothful, lax, slack.
Antonyms: fast, prompt, brisk, quick.
Usage: They were dilatory in providing the researchers with information.

PUMMEL(Verb) : कूटना
Meaning: to defeat someone easily at a sport
Synonyms: bash, batter
Antonyms: compliment, fail
Usage: The boxer had pummeled his opponent into submission by the end of the fourth round.

SCALDING(Adjective) : धधकते हुए
Meaning: If a liquid is scalding, it is extremely hot
Synonyms: blazing, blistering
Antonyms: cold, cool
Usage: Against her will, hot scalding tears burst from her eyes and down her cheeks.

ABOMINATE(Verb) : घृणा करना
Meaning: to hate something very much
Synonyms: abhor, despise
Antonyms: admire, approve

INTRANSIGENCE (Noun) : कट्टरता
Meaning: refusal to change one’s views or to agree about something.
Synonyms: inflexibility, stubbornness, obstinacy

LEEWAY (Noun) : स्वतंत्रता
Meaning: the amount of freedom to move or act that is available.
Synonyms: freedom, scope
Usage: My boss grants me leeway to make my own decisions.
