Contrite (Adjective) : मनोव्यथित
Meaning: feeling or expressing remorse at the recognition that one has done wrong.
Synonym: remorseful, repentant, penitent, regretful
Antonym: unrepentant, defiant
Example:  She must be humble and contrite.

Wither (Verb) : कुम्हलाना
Meaning: fall into decay or decline
Synonym: diminish, dwindle, shrink, lessen, fade
Antonym: grow
Example: Words to express her feelings seemed to wither and die inside her.

Pernicious (Adjective) : हानिकारक
Meaning: having a harmful effect, especially in a gradual or subtle way.
Synonym: harmful, damaging, destructive, injurious
Antonym: beneficial, benign, favourable
Example: If you are going to behave in such a pernicious manner, I would prefer to not be around you.

TINGE (verb) रंग देना
Meaning: color slightly.
Synonyms: dye, stain, shade, suffuse.
Antonyms: decolorize, whiten, blanch, bleach.
Example: The sky had become a dark shade of indigo, tinged with the remnants of deep magenta.

DULY (adverb) विधिवत
Meaning: in accordance with what is required or appropriate; following proper procedure or arrangement.
Synonyms: fittingly, aptly, appropriately, suitably.
Antonyms: improperly, inappropriately, incongruously, incorrectly.
Example:  I never trust a buyer until I have his contract in my hand, duly signed and witnessed.

 ABIDING (adjective) स्थायी
Meaning: (of a feeling or memory) lasting a long time; enduring.
Synonyms: persisting, long-lasting, everlasting, perpetual.
Antonyms: short-lived, ephemeral, transitory, transient.
Example: The abiding interest in Korner is patriotic and political rather than literary.

REDOUND (Verb) : सहायता देना
Meaning: come back upon; rebound on.
Synonyms: react, recoil, resound, return
Example: After I was fired, I was hopeful that the job fair would hopefully redound to good job opportunities.

SIDLE (Verb) : तिरछे चलना
Meaning: walk in a furtive, unobtrusive, or timid manner, especially sideways or obliquely.
Synonyms: creep, sneak, slink, slip, slide
Antonyms: march, stride
Example: Because the cars were packed in the driveway, I had to sidle between them in order to get to the house.

WANE (Verb) : पतन
Meaning: (of a state or feeling) decrease in vigour or extent; become weaker.
Synonyms: decrease, decline, diminish, dwindle, shrink
Antonyms: increase, grow
Example: When the investigators ran out of leads, the intensity of the murder investigation started to wane.
