FACET (Noun) : पहलू
Meaning: a particular aspect or feature of something.

INCIPIENT (Adjective) : उत्पन्न होने वाला
Meaning: in the beginning stages.
Synonym: nascent, , basic, beginning, commencing, elementary, fundamental
Antonym: developed, grown, mature
Usage: He, too, was found to be suffering from incipient tuberculosis.

STINT (Noun)  : कार्यकाल
Meaning: a limited period of work or a limited time in a specific job or profession.
Synonyms: assignment, , duty, job, spell, stretch
Antonyms: entertainment, failure, fun, pastime, stagnation
Usage: I want to finish this stint, so as to have the afternoon off.

THUMPING (adjective)  : विशाल
Meaning: of an impressive size, extent, or amount.
Synonyms: colossal, immense, mammoth, monumental.
Antonyms: negligible, little, infinitesimal, minute.
Usage: But this year, when precisely the same measure came up for a required second vote, it was defeated by a thumping margin of 157 to 39.

MISGIVING (noun) : संदेह
Meaning: a feeling of doubt or apprehension about the outcome or consequences of something.
Synonyms: qualm, doubt, reservation, scruple.
Antonyms: assurance, belief, credence, certitude.
Usage: Despite my misgivings, I picked up a box of these today when I filled the new prescription.

DETENTE (noun) : समझौता
Meaning: the easing of hostility or strained relations, especially between countries.
Synonyms: agreement, peace, amity, concord.
Antonyms: disruptive, antagonism, antipathy, hostility.
Usage: The policy of detente was scrapped and the objective was increasingly to roll back the Soviet Union.

ANNIHILATE (verb) : संहार करना
Meaning: to destroy something completely so that nothing is left.
Synonyms: destroy, wipe out, obliterate, eliminate.
Antonyms: construct, create, guard, promote.
Usage: The massive earthquake annihilated many towns and villages.

 ELATION (noun) : उत्साह
Meaning:  a state of extreme happiness or excitement.
Synonyms: happiness, exhilaration, joy, joyousness.
Antonyms: depression, despair, gloom, sorrow.
Usage: Their elation on our victory in Kargil was boundless.

LOFTY (adjective) : बुलंद
Meaning: elevated in character and spirit.
Synonyms: tall, high, giant, towering.
Antonyms: dwarfish, short, petty, modest.
Usage: Himalaya is the mountain with many lofty peaks always clad in snow and ice.
