Meaning: self-evident or unquestionable.

BRAZEN (Adjective) : ज़बरदस्त

Meaning: obvious, without any attempt to be hidden

Synonyms: blatant, bold

Antonyms: humble, meek

Usage: In a brazen assault, the gang fired their weapons at the policeman.

CASTIGATED (Verb) : आलोचना

Meaning: reprimand (someone) severely.

Synonym: reprimand, rebuke

Antonym: praise, commend

Usage: He castigated himself for being so stupid.

COPIOUS (Adjective)  : प्रचुर

Meaning: abundant in supply or quantity.

Synonym: abundant, ample, extensive

Antonym: lacking, meager, rare

Usage: The storm produced a copious amount of rain.

DURESS (Noun) : अवरोध

Meaning: threats, violence, constraints, or other action used to coerce someone into doing something against their will or better judgment.

Synonyms: coercion, compulsion, pressurization, enforcement.

Antonyms: agreement, approval, consent, persuasion.

Usage: I think Harry was under duress when she signed the agreement; he never would have voluntarily accepted those conditions.

MALAPERT (Adjective)  : बेशरम

Meaning: boldly disrespectful; impudent.

Synonym: impertinent, cheeky, rude, brazen.

Antonyms: courteous, humble, modest, polite.

Usage: In a fury, she said that he was too malapert to give her such an answer, and affirmed that both he and they should repent it

RICKETY (Adjective) : सूका रोगी

Meaning: (of a structure or piece of equipment) poorly made and likely to collapse.

Synonyms: dilapidated, ramshackle, derelict, ruinous.

Antonyms: stable, sturdy, durable, strong.

Usage: She then directed them to the fourth floor, giving them the choice of the stairs or a rickety lift.

WREST (Verb) : हथियाना

Meaning: forcibly pull (something) from a person’s grasp.

Synonyms: wrench, snatch, seize, grab

Antonyms: give

Usage: Sita felt she had to wrest the weapon from the hostage-taker for the sake of her safety.
