Intrigue (verb) : साज़िश
Meaning: arouse the curiosity or interest of; fascinate.
Synonyms: artifice, cabal, collusion
Antonyms: honesty, truthfulness
Usage: Like an ancient Greek, his spirit loved intrigue for intrigue’s sake.

Bellwether (noun) : भेड़ाओं का राहनुमा
Meaning: something that leads or indicates a trend.
Synonyms: doyen, forerunner, guide
Usage: The crowd does not imitate or follow its leader as sheep do a bellwether.

Plunge (verb) : डुबकी
Meaning: jump or dive quickly and energetically.
Synonyms: descent, dive, fall
Antonyms: ascent, rise, increase
Usage: “I knew he’d plunge,” he said, taking the chair proffered him, near Shepler’s desk.

Reform (verb) : सुधार
Meaning: make changes in (something, especially an institution or practice) in order to improve it.

Epochal(adjective) : महत्त्वपूर्ण
Meaning: forming or characterizing an epoch; epoch-making.

Usage: The silence lengthened until it became acute, epochal, climactic.

languid(adjective) : निस्तेज
Meaning: (of a person, manner, or gesture) having or showing a disinclination for physical exertion or effort.
Synonym: relaxed, unhurried
Antonym: energetic, active
Usage: Her applause was not languid applause, neither was it without discrimination.
