The Labour Bureau, an office of the Ministry of Labour & Employment, releases the Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (CPI-IW) monthly. The CPI-IW for July 2024 has increased by 1.3 points to 142.7. The year-on-year inflation rate for July 2024 is 2.15%, a decrease from 7.54% in July 2023. For comparison, the year-on-year inflation rate for June 2024 was 3.67%, down from 5.57% in June 2023.
