This section is no doubt going to make your blood run cold with a great number of puzzles that was as great as 25 in the 4th shift of October. You can choose to leave an extremely difficult puzzle but keep it in mind that it is just impossible to overlook puzzles as the expected number of total questions based on puzzles is 20-25 out of total 35 questions.
The major changes seen in the Reasoning Section of IBPS PO Prelims Exams seen in the pattern of the number of questions on were Coding-Decoding, Syllogism, and Inequality. In some shifts, the questions on Inequality were missing whereas the number of questions on Coding Decoding were missing in the other. Another major variation seen this year was the appearance of the questions based on Machine input and output in the Prelims Exam that was generally asked in Mains Examination. You literally need to practice quite hard if you genuinely wish to ace the grades in this particular section. And yes, do read the question very carefully, you can miss a few important points while solving puzzles or the other questions and mark a wrong answer too.
Make sure that the time that you spend on solving this section doesn’t exceed 20 minutes. The sectional cut off for Reasoning Ability Section in 2015 and 2016 were 11.25 and 8.50 respectively.
