Here we will discuss all the Medical Formalities required to be fulfilled by candidates under Pre-Joining Formalities of Bank Recruitment.
The procedures for Medical Examination Procedures may vary from one bank’s guidelines to another but the concerned bank will communicate to the selected candidates. Some Banks may ask the candidate to get the medical procedure done and to Produce Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Chief Medical Officer of Govt. Hospital and bring it along with other documents on the date of document verification. While many other banks usually conduct Medical Fitness test 2 or 3 days after Document Verification, where they’ll ask the candidate to visit the concerned hospital and get a few test done.
Following are the test usually done for Medical Examination as pre-joining formalities:
- Measurement of Height and Weight
- X-Ray
- ECG
- Blood Sugar Test
- Urine Test
Candidates need not worry regarding this as these are just pre-joining formalities and your bank will let you know their guidelines. This process is very basic in nature, and is aimed to knowing whether you are healthy as a person, and do not possess any serious ailment that might cause hindrance to your career in the long run. After successful completion of these two pre-joining formalities i.e. Medical Examination and Document Verification the bank will further communicate with you or send you an e-mail regarding your joining date.
