IBPS conducts various examinations every year such as the examination for RRBs (Regional Rural Banks), Participating Bank’s Clerk, PO, etc. The IBPS has released the IBPS Calendar 2024 for the 2024 examination. The IBPS Eligibility Criteria is different for different Examinations. SBI (State Bank of India) conducts the examination itself. Common eligibility criteria for bank exams are mentioned below:
- Candidates must be an Indian Citizen (or Nepal, Bhutan)
- For the PO post, the candidate must be 30 years of age or less (minimum age varies as per organisation)
- For the Clerk post, the candidate must be 28 years of age or less (minimum age varies as per organisation)
- IBPS RRBs (for Clerk & PO post) exam, candidates are eligible for registration after attaining 18 years of age
- In general, for PO & Clerk posts, the minimum educational qualification shall be a Bachelor’s Degree.

Bank Exams Educational Qualification 2024
The Bank Exams Educational Qualification is the minimum educational qualification required by the candidates to be eligible for the exam. Remember, some organisations also set a minimum percentage (of Marks) for eligibility such as RBI Grade B minimum required percentage in Graduation is 60% of marks. Language Proficiency
Proficiency in the local Language is mandatory for the IBPS RRB Clerk & IBPS RRB PO exam. For this purpose, candidates who have passed that particular local language in Standard VIII or Above.
For the SBI Clerk eligibility, the candidate should have passed the local language in Standard Xth or above, then they will not be subjected to the local language test. Otherwise, they have to appear in the local language test after provisional selection but before joining.
Computer Literacy
Computer Literacy is required in terms of Operating and Working Knowledge of Computer Systems. Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Computer Operations is mandatory for the IBPS Clerk exam. Or the candidate should have passed computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in High School/College/Institute.
