Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Aradhya Bachchan test positive for COVID 19: Check details

The biggest star of the film industry, Amitabh Bachchan and his son has been tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. Amitabh Bachchan has been kept in the isolation unit of Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai and doctors have declared his stable condition with mild symptoms of coronavirus. 

On Saturday, 11th July 2020, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted about the positive result in the COVID-19 test and asked everyone who came close to him in the last 10 days to get themselves tested for the virus. Abhishek Bachchan also tweeted about his result on Saturday night by saying “He had also tested positive and was in the hospital on Saturday” He also added that both of them were having mild symptoms of COVID-19.

Other family members and servants working there were also tested for coronavirus. As per a tweet written by Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope, Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya have also been tested positive whereas Jaya Bachchan was tested negative for the virus. Both mother and daughter’s swab samples were collected yesterday for the RT-PCR test after Amitabh And Abhishek were declared positive. The respots came positive today morning declaring Aishwarya and Aardhya positive for the virus. According to the health minister, Jaya Bachchan would again be having a test later for the virus to double-check the reports in case anything wrong does not happen the testing.

A total of 16 people including the family members, guards, maids, and servants were tested for the virus. The reports will be coming by tomorrow morning for the maids and guards of the house. Aishwarya and Aardhya were tested negative in the rapid antigen test at the hospital but when their samples were sent to the RT-PCR test, the reports came out to be positive with minimum symptoms.  

Both RT-PCR and antigen tests are used for detecting coronavirus which took 8 hours and 230 minutes to give the results respectively. As per the protocols, any test resulting positive in the antigen test is concluded as positive and negative reports are re-tested for RT-PCR procedure which is compulsory to double-check the results. 

Amitabh and Abhishek have mild symptoms, therefore kept in the hospital whereas Aishwarya and Aardhya have been found asymptomatic, therefore have been asked to get the treatment at home or want to be admitted to the hospital as BMC commissioner, Suresh Kakani reported. 

As per the reports, all four bungalows of Amitabh Bachchan with the names Jalsa, Janak, Pratiksha, and Vatsa have been reported as containment zones have been sealed by the BMC. Tracing the contacts of the staff members has been started and till now a total of 30 have been found which are at high risk of the virus.

People have started tweeting with their well-wishes for the Bachchan family’s health to recover speedily from the coronavirus. In Ujjain, Mumbai fans of Amitabh Bachchan have kept a prayer for their speedy recovery. All the people who came in contact with any of the family members or staff members at Amitabh’s house are appealed to get their test done as soon as possible.
