Agneepath Scheme: Agneepath Scheme is a recruitment scheme launched by the central government, according to the government, Agneepath scheme has been designed to enable a youthful profile of the Armed Forces wherein selected candidates will be enrolled as Agneers for four years period in the Indian Armed Forces. The three services announced the recruitment scheduled for the first batch of agniveers with training set to commence by 2022 end. Indian Army and Indian Airforce have already released the recruitment notification therefore candidates who want to be a part of an elite defence force must be aware of all the eligibility criteria of Agneepath Scheme. Agneepath Scheme: Educational Qualification (Indian Army)

Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical (All Arms) | 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping in Cl XII is mandatory. |

Agneepath Scheme: Educational Qualification (Indian Airforce)
The educational qualification required under the Agneepath scheme to apply for the Indian Airforce is given below. Candidates who wanted to make their career in Indian Airforce must go through the educational qualification
(a) Science Subjects Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from an Education Board listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course). OR Passed Two years Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Maths from State Education Boards/Councils which are listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).
(b) Other Than Science Subjects Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any subject approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
