These cut-off marks reflect the minimum scores needed to clear both the prelims and mains stages. Staying informed about past cut-offs helps in setting clear benchmarks and boosts confidence during the selection process.
Determining Factors for SBI Clerk Cut Off 2025
Several key aspects influence the SBI Clerk Cut Off 2025. Being aware of these factors helps candidates gauge competition levels and set practical goals.
1. State & Category-Wise Vacancies: The number of openings in each state and category significantly impacts the cut-off marks. Higher vacancies may lead to a lower cut-off, while fewer vacancies can result in a higher cut-off.
2. Exam Difficulty Variation: The complexity of the exam may differ across shifts, affecting the overall cut-off. If a particular shift has a tougher paper, the cut-off might be adjusted accordingly.
3. Candidate Turnout per Shift: The total number of candidates appearing in each shift also contributes to determining the final cut-off. Higher participation usually results in increased competition, influencing the cut-off trend.
4. Previous Year Cut-Off Trends: Cut-off marks from past years serve as a reference point for determining the expected cut-off for the current year. A rising trend in previous cut-offs may indicate higher competition.
5. Overall Performance of Candidates: The collective performance of all candidates in the exam affects the cut-off. If the majority of candidates score higher, the cut-off will naturally increase.
6. Normalization Process: Since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts, the normalization process ensures fairness by adjusting scores based on the difficulty level of different shifts.

State Bank of India has implemented a Tie-Breaking Policy, i.e. used when two or more candidates achieve the same score in the examination. The SBI Clerk Tie-Breaking Policy has been mentioned below:
- Category Preference: Priority will first be given to candidates from the SC, ST, OBC, and PH categories.
- Fewer Incorrect Answers: Candidates with fewer incorrect answers across all subjects will be given the next level of preference.
- Age Consideration: Finally, if necessary, preference will be given to older candidates based on age.
