IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2024

The IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2024 comprises of two stages: the Preliminary and the Main Examination. The Preliminary Examination is the first step, which tests candidates on Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. Successful candidates from the preliminary round move on to the Main Examination, which includes sections on General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2024

The IBPS Clerk Exam 2024 has two main parts, the Preliminary and the Mains exams. The Prelims exams consists of the three areas: reasoning, quantitative aptitude and English and candidates  need to pass each section to move to the Mains. Both exams will be available in English and Hindi. The Prelims and Mains differ in the number of questions, marks and time allowed, so make sure to understand the details for each part to prepare effectively.

IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2024

The IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam has three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. It is an online test with 100 questions, and you have one hour to complete it. For each correct answer candidate will get 1 mark and for each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. The total marks for the exam will be 100. To qualify for the Mains exam, you must meet the IBPS cut-off score.

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Pattern 2024

For the IBPS Clerk Mains Exam 2024, there will be a total of 190 questions and you will have to complete it in 160 minutes. The exam is objective-based and has a maximum score of 200 marks. The sections for Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability have been combined into one. Each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. To eligible for the Mains exam, candidate have to  pass the Prelims exam. The Mains exam will cover four sections and requires careful time management to complete within the 160 minutes.
