2nd November- All Soul’s Day 2021

All Soul’s Day is also known as a commemoration of all the faithful departed and the day of the dead stop this is an occasion which is celebrated on second November every year. This is a day of commemoration for all those baptized questions who are purgatory as they died with the guilt of a few sins on their souls.  On this day thousands of people flock to the cemeteries and offer flowers and prayers to their loved ones who passed away. On this day people have a mini feast to remember and pay tribute to the contribution of their departed loved ones.

All Soul’s Day 2021: History

All Soul’s Day was first recognized in commemoration of the dead by Saint Odilo of Cluny. This practice was adopted by Saint Odilo Who is performed by the whole Western Church and was spread fast across the town. And now this occasion became the most important event in Europe.
