Q6. The ratio of speeds of two trains ‘A’ and ‘B’ is 3: 5. Train A leaves Delhi for Bhopal and after two hours starting of train A, train B also leaves Bhopal for Delhi. If distance between Delhi to Bhopal is 720 km and both trains meet after 6 hours after starting of train B, then find speed of train A.
Q7. The length and breadth of a room are in the ratio 4 : 3 and its height is 5.5 metres. The cost of decorating its walls at Rs. 6.60 per square metre is Rs. 5082. Find the length and breadth of the room.
So, 2 × (4x + 3x) × 5.5 × 6.6 = 5082, x = 10

Q8. A rectangular farm has to be fenced on one long side, one short side and the diagonal. If the cost of fencing is Rs 10 per m, the area of farm is 1200 m² and the short side is 30 m long, how much would the job cost?
Q9. Smallest angle of a triangle is equal to two-third the smallest angle of a quadrilateral. The ratio between the angles of the quadrilateral is 3 : 4 : 5 : 6. Largest angle of the triangle is twice its smallest angle. What is the sum of second largest angle of the triangle and largest angle of the quadrilateral?
Q10. Train A is 180 metre long, while another train B is 240 metre long. A has a speed of 30 kmph and B’s speed is 40 kmph, if the trains move in opposite directions. When will A pass B completely ?
