Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a common written exam (CWE) every year for the recruitment of clerical cadre in various banks across the country. IBPS conducted IBPS Clerk Exam for the eighth time last year (2018) and was therefore named as IBPS Clerk CWE VIII. IBPS Clerk CWE exam is conducted in two phases i.e. preliminary and mains level exams of which the second phase is yet to be conducted. Candidates who qualified both the phases will be selected as Clerks in the Public Sector Banks of India.
This year’s calendar of IBPS Clerk Exam has already been released by IBPS and you all must have already started to prepare for the same. When you prepare for a competitive exam, you should keep yourself abreast of what was asked in the previously conducted exams for the same recruitment process. If we talk about IBPS Clerk 2018-19 Exam, the preliminary examination was conducted in the month of December and the main exam is yet to be conducted on 20th January 2019.
The IBPS Clerk Preliminary examination was conducted on 8th, 9th and 15th of December 2018. The questions asked in the three sections viz. English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude were based on the conventional pattern of IBPS Clerk Exam. No new pattern questions were observed in any of the shifts conducted all throughout. Given below are the exam pattern and cut-off scores of IBPS Clerk Exam 2018-19 respectively:
