1. Indo-Japan Joint Exercise ‘Dharma Guardian’ To Be Held in Mizoram

i. To promote Military cooperation, India and Japan are all set to hold the first-ever joint military exercise ‘DHARMA GUARDIAN-2018’ involving the Indian Army and Japan Ground Self Defence Force in Mizoram, India. 
ii. The Indian contingent will be represented by 6/1 GORKHA RIFLES while the Japanese contingent will be represented by 32 Infantry Regiment of the Japanese Ground Self Defence Force.

2. India’s Highest Tricolour Unfurled At Haj House in Mumbai

i. Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi unfurled India’s highest tricolour on the terrace of the majestic Haj House in Mumbai. The national flag measured 20×30 feet and stood 350 feet above the ground level. 
ii. The flag atop a 20-metre high mast on top of the iconic building is near the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in south Mumbai. The tricolour is made of non-fading polyester and manufactured by The Flag Company.

3. Wildlife Photographer Of The Year 2018 Bagged By Marsel van Oosten

i. The powerful image of a pair of golden snub-nosed monkeys seated in contemplation amid iridescent foliage has been awarded one of the most prestigious prizes in photography, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2018. 
ii. The image, called “The Golden Couple,” was captured by Dutch photographer Marsel van Oosten in the Qinling Mountains of southwestern China – the endangered monkeys’ only habitat. 
4. Arshdeep Singh Wins Top Wildlife Photo Award in Junior Category

i. Arshdeep Singh, a 10-year-old boy from Punjab, has won the Wildlife Photographer of the Year award in 10 Years and Under category given by UK’s Natural History Museum. 
ii. He won the award for the picture titled ‘Pipe Owls’, which showed two spotted owlets sitting inside an old waste-pipe in Punjab’s Kapurthala. Arshdeep has been taking photographs since he was six.

6. Canelo Alvarez Signs Richest Contract in Sports History, Worth $365 million

i. Professional Boxer Canelo Alvarez has signed the largest contract in the history of sports, agreeing a five-year, 11-fight deal worth at least $365 million with streaming service DAZN. 
ii. Under the deal, Alvarez will participate in 11 fights, starting December 15, 2018. The previous richest contract was the 13-year, $325-million deal signed by New York Yankees’ Giancarlo Stanton in 2014.
