Keep Yourself Updated with the Syllabus and the Changes in Exam Pattern

Knowing every topic that will be asked in the examination is a must to start off the preparations for a competitive examination. Mere knowledge of the syllabus is not enough but you should also keep yourself updated about the recent changes introduced in the pattern or the questions now being asked in IBPS examinations.

Start Your Preparations with a Study Plan

Once you prepare a study plan for an examination, you are bound to give a certain amount of time to a particular topic or subject. Once you are done with a particular topic, you are kind of excited for the next one. Also, when there is a plan, there is a deadline to wind up certain topics within a certain period of time.

Analyze Your Strengths/Weaknesses

If you are good at a particular subject/topic, keep working on it until you become excellent at it (avoid the habit of procrastination). Also, if your concepts on any topic are not clear, you can watch free Youtube videos, refer to Adda247 Publications hard copy books or e-books and be on the ball to face IBPS Clerk 2018. You can also opt to enroll in Adda247 Live Batches or Classroom Program for expert guidance.

Work on your Speed as well as your Accuracy

As sectional timing has been introduced for prelims exam, so speed is of utmost requirement with accuracy. After finishing with the topics, it is very important to practice full length Mocks in the real exam interface to get an idea about your weak and strong areas and analyse your speed and accuracy. You may avail test series from store.adda247.com where we provide test series based on the latest pattern and you can practice from these tests in the real exam interface.  It also gives you an All India Rank so as you can assess where you stand and how much more you need to work.

Keep Yourself Updated with the Current Affairs

When we talk about Mains examination, current affairs play a crucial role in it. It is very important to prepare this section well as it will greatly help you in scoring well in your Mains Examination. Current Affairs cannot be treated as a one day task and must not be kept for the last. You have to prepare for Mains Exam alongwith prelims exam else it will get complicated for you after prelims.
