As we all know that the official notification for the recruitment of Clerks in the State Bank of India was released in the month of January and the preliminary examination was supposed to be held in the month of March or April. Due to the case pending against the bank, the prelims exam was postponed and will now be conducted on 23rd, 24th and 30th of June. Because of this long time gap between the release of notification and the conduction of examination, many of the candidates have lost their login details, as in their roll number and password. Students, you really need not worry regarding it as you can retrieve it back. Here are a few steps that you can follow to find your registration number and password to download your admit card for SBI Clerk Prelims Examination 2018:
1. Log into your registered email id and search for it in the inbox, spam and trash folders. If you cannot find it on scrolling through these folders, search for an email with the following subject line: Application for RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR ASSOCIATES (CUSTOMER SUPPORT & SALES) in State Bank of India ADVERTISEMENT NO. CRPD/CR/2017-18/10. By doing this, you will definitely find the mail that was sent to you when you applied to appear for this exam.
2. Check your registered mobile number’s inbox if there is an SMS on your mobile phone from SBI (VM-SBIJAS). You must have also received an SMS regarding your registration number and information to download SBI Junior Associate Preliminary Exam Call Letter. If the message is not there in your inbox, you can wait for a few days for SBI to send you an SMS regarding the availability of your admit card along with your registration number.
3. If you remember the registration number but forgot the password then you can go to the following link to retrieve the password and hence download your call letter for the exam. Visit this link: http://ibps.sifyitest.com/sbijacsjan18/. Enter your Registration Number, click on Forgot Password and there you go.
4. If your case is different from the cases mentioned above then please contact IBPS Candidate Grievance Redressal Portal at http://cgrs.ibps.in/.
Also, it is clearly mentioned in the FAQs by IBPS and SBI that “Please note down the REGISTRATION No. and PASSWORD carefully and preserve it.
