Bank of Baroda & Manipal School of Learning for the post of Probationary Officer notification has been announced today and there are many doubts/queries coming in the mind of aspiring candidates. We have given below a list of frequently asked questions and their answers.

What are the posts available under this recruitment project?
The recruitment will be done only for the post of Probationary Officer.
When will be the exam conducted?
Recruitment Examination will be conducted online tentatively on 28.07.2018.
When will the result be declared?
No Tentative Date for the results is announced in the Notification.
How many vacancies will be there?
The total number of vacancies available is 600.
Will there be a common interview after the written result?
Yes, a common interview will take place after the written result.
Will the exam conducted online or offline (OMR Based)?
The exam will be conducted online.
What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam?
Age: Age (As on 02.07.2018)
Minimum 20 years
Maximum 28 years 
A candidate must have been born not earlier than 03.07.1990 and not later than 02.07.1998 (both dates inclusive)
What is the relaxation given to the different categories?
SC/ST – 5 years
OBC – 3 years
PWD (Gen) – 10 years
PWD (SC/ST) – 15 years
PWD (OBC) – 13 years
Persons domiciled in Kashmir Division of Jammu & Kashmir State during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 – 5 years  
What is the educational qualification required for various posts in this recruitment process?
A Degree (Graduation) with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in any discipline from
a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central
Government.
I have scored 54.99% in Graduation. Am I eligible to sit for the exam?
No, you can’t.
I am 19 years old. Can I sit for the exam?
No. The minimun age required is 20years. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 03.07.1990 and not later than 02.07.1998 (both dates inclusive)
I have given exams of my final year graduation but result has not yet been declared. Can I apply?
The result should have been declared on or before 02.07.2018. Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result on or before 02.07.2018 has to be submitted at the time of interview.
What is the application Fee?
1. SC/ST/PWD – Rs. 100
2. General and OBC – Rs. 600
When will the registration start?
Registration started from 12.06.2018 to 02.07.2018
Do I need to know the local language to apply from a state?
No, it is not required. Recruitment of Probationary Officers does not require the knowledge of local language.  
What will be the exam center of the exam?
Candidates can apply for all vacancies from the state wise list of centres given in the official notification. 
I am from Animation/Fashion background. What option should I chose?
You should choose “others”.
What is the language used in the exam? What is the meaning of “bilingual”?
The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi.
On what basis the Merit List will be drawn?
The Final merit list for selection shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in Online test (objective + descriptive), Group Discussion and Interview
What is the cut-off for being recruited?
There is no fixed cutoff for the exam. It depends on the performance of the candidates each year. Your final score is calculated based on your performance in the written test and the interview.
Is there a sectional cut-off in the exam?
Yes, there is a sectional cut-off in the exam. You have to clear every section in order to secure a seat for the Interview.
I have cleared the overall cutoff of the exam. However, I could not clear the cutoff for the general knowledge section. Am I still eligible?
Unfortunately, you are not eligible to move to the interview stage. You must clear the cutoff for each section and the overall cutoff as well.
How can I apply for the exam?
You have to apply online for the exam through official website. Note down the details of the application process from the notification of the exam . You can pay online only.
What the pattern of the Exam?

Is there a criterion for negative marking?
There is negative marking of ¼ marks for every wrong answer.
What is the Programme fees for this course?
The fees for this Course will be Rs.3, 45, 000/- (all inclusive of boarding, Lodging and course fees, other fees, etc.) plus applicable taxes to be paid by the student.
Loyalty Bonus
After completion of 5 years of active service in the Bank, the course fee of  Rs.3, 45, 000/- shall be
reimbursed by the Bank as ‘Loyalty Bonus’ to the officer who pass out from Baroda Manipal School of Banking.
