“Till the full stop doesn’t come, the sentence is not complete”: Amrendra Kumar (IBPS RRB PO)

Respected sir, I want to share my story of success in IBPS clerk exam 2017. my journey of cracking a bank exam started from 2016 when I have done my graduation. I started preparation by joining a coaching institute where I studied for 6-8 months. then I continued my preparation by myself. asIi belongs to a poor BPL family it was hard to stay in Ranchi and bear the expenses. but my family supported me till I got success.

my preparation strategy is that i always focused on every topic of every subject. i am a hindi medium student so my english was weak. so i have to focus more on the english language. i divided english language in three parts: grammar, vocab and reading habbits, then gave separate time to each section. in 6-8 months i have remembered approx 2000 important words. and for grammer, i read lucent english grammer. i also make habbit of reading a english  newspaper daily, this helped me on both the english and current affairs. for quants, i prefered r.s. agrawal and book provided by my institute. for reasoning, i read a few books and done the lot of practice on new pattern questions provided by bankersadda.com. for computer and current affairs, i read the newspaper on daily basis, daily current affairs on bankersadda and gk capsule of addagroup before the examination.
after completing syllabus, i did lots of self study and practice with questions and test series provided by bankers adda. i saw videos of bankersadda on youtube especially for reasoning. i appeared  in RRB clerk 2017 and RBI assistant 2017, i passed preliminary in both but could not get success in mains. i was remained unselected only for 4 marks in rrb clerk 2017 exam. but i did not lose my confidence and hope and appeared in ibps clerk 2017 exam with more confidence. i got 80 marks in preliminary and then 105.06 marks in mains from Jharkhand. my scores in mains: GA 23.75  English 24.50  Reasoning 22.06  Quant 34.75.
in this 2 years of preparation, i faced many difficulties and mental stress. all things does not go in our side. there are a lot of days when i could not study, but i never broke my continuity. in my thought, success means determination, regularity and confidence. if you dont give up, success definitely comes to you. i want to thanks my parents, mu guru, my institute – universal career center ranchi and off course – bankers adda group for providing me a quality videos, sessions, questions and test series.
i want to congratulate all the aspirants who got success in IBPS PO, SO and Clerical 2017. and who not get selected i want to say only one thing: never ever give up. best of luck!!
