My name is Surisetti Jahnavisuryacharan and I am from Andrapradesh. I am a reader of bankersadda. I completed B.tech in 2015 in EEE. After completion of B.tech, I chose banking sector. I have been preparing for banking since 2015 July 18. I attended around 25 exams. Finally, I got selected as BOB PO.
My 1st attempt was IBPS RRB PO 2015 in September. I was not even able to clear sectional cutoff. After that, I appeared in IBPS PO 2015, in that exam I could not clear the preliminary exam. In IBPS clerk 2015 I cleared preliminary but failed in mains. My failure continued with Andhra Bank PGDBF, Syndicate Bank PGDBF, and LIC AAO exam. At the time of continued failures, I was totally disappointed.
In April 2016, I saw the notification of SBI clerk, I focused with 100% effectiveness bit, unfortunately, I didn’t clear it. I failed by 10 marks. I failed to clear SBI PO Prelims also. After that BOB PGDBF, BOM PGDBF I failed. In IBPS RRB PO, IBPS PO and IBPS RRB clerk I cleared preliminary exam but failed in mains. All exams I appeared for, before BOB, I didn’t clear any, including RBI Assistant, IDBI Executive, IDBI PO, Indian bank PO, Indian Postal, SBI PO 2017 Prelims.
I finally decided to do or die. I was mentally prepared in 2017 that I want to get a job definitely. And finally, my dream came true. I got selected as BOB PO. In my point of view, success is a combination of focusing on strengths and suppressing our weaknesses. My purpose to write this story is that your patience, your dedication, your hard work leads definitely leads to success. My preparation strategy:
1. QUANT: My strength is Quant. In initial stage I prepared from R.S. Agarwal, later I practice exercise of bankers adda quant. Coming to DI, bankers adda quizzes are enough. Recently released DI capsule of BA was also very useful. After completing your basics you should focus on practice sessions in bankers adda quant.
2. REASONING: I think this section is scoring to all aspirants but accuracy plays a key role. From my point of view, the difference between quant and reasoning is that, in quant, possibility of negative marking is lesser. If you attempt 50 mock tests in BA and practice sessions of reasoning then it is more than enough.
3.ENGLISH: English is deciding factor of any banking aspirant. In English grammer, reading skills, and vocabulary is essential. Bankers adda quizzes enough to score well in English.
4. GA: Bankers adda capsules are enough. Repeated reading plays a key role.
THANKS TO BANKERS ADDA, 24*7 APP MOCK TESTS QUIZZES HELPED ME A LOT.
