Success Story: Jitendra (BOB PO)

Hello Friends,

Success Story: Jitendra (BOB PO) |_2.1
I used to read many success stories of others and Finally !! now I am writing my own and I am feeling very excited and emotional too in sharing one mine. I am Jitendra known as Edward Snowden on Disqus and I am from Abu, Rajasthan. I’ve done BCA and then MBA in HR.

So let me start from my MBA placement time. I did my Masters from Parul University, Vadodara (Guj) and I got placed in one of the MNC (IT Staffing Industry) company in Vadodara, Gujarat in Jan, 2012 (During 4th Sem) with absolutely handsome package for a fresher. I started off on 6th Feb and bought my favorite bike TVS Apache RTR 160 within 6 months on my own. My parents were so happy and I was enjoying my work-life.

But then in August, 2012 I came to know about IBPS and other bank exams, so I thought let me give a shot and try my luck, I started filling-up the forms and giving exams, without any preparation (biggest mistake of my life). Anyways, I was just checking whether my luck is bright or not and got proved myself wrong by not getting any exams cleared. It went for 2 and half year, then my mom and dad asked me to leave that private job and focus on my bank exams. I too gave a thought on it and I put my papers in Nov 2014 and resigned.

After leaving my job and leaving my beautiful friend circle in Vadodara, I came back to my home town Abu. I don’t know why I was unable to concentrate on exams and was getting frustrated because I was sitting idle and not doing anything. Believe me friends, after leaving a job and sitting idle is the worst things that can happen with any individual. I was directionless but anyhow, In Sept 2015, I went to Jaipur for Bank classes and there I took training for 3-4 months. In that period, I came to know the actual picture of mine and I got to know I have to work very hard to crack these exams. In that time, fortunately I met a best friend of my life, the Bankers Adda (BA). Believe me guys, I wasn’t aware about the strategies to clear exams, clear cut-offs, time management etc, but after going through this training and with the help of BA  I got to know everything about competitive exams. I started following each and every quizzes and posts on BA on daily basis. Initially I was a silent reader but then I understood that if I have to get knowledge and share knowledge, I have to make an ID and start doing conversation with other students on disqus platform.

These are the exams in which I appeared and got out:

1. SBI PO Pre 2015 (Out) – Without Preparation
2. IBPS PO Pre 2015 (Out)

These are the exams which I cleared:

You know what friends, I always thought that these bank exams are not my cup of tea but I decided that I will write each and every bank and insurance exams to gain more n more experience of these exams and will learn about time management, strategy making and its execution. By the time, it took me one and half year to plan my own strategies to crack the exams and clear cutoffs.

In last 7-8 months, I got a strong grip on GA. I was never comfortable with math in my life, but I had to deal with it so I made a strategy. I decided not to go for score in Math section. I decided to just clear the cutoff of math section and score in others so that my overall score won’t get affected.

So guys, I just want to request to you that never lose the hope, never quit… We are in such a cut-throat competition that we have to keep patience to fight and crack the exams. I would like to thank this BA platform (Especially Prashant Sir) and some good friends like Chandani, RajKumaran, Invictus, Munshi Ji, S.Chand, Eklavya, Naina 1, Charu, Bonhomie and many other friends who used to conduct quizzes.

Thanks to all members of this small virtual oblivion and all the very best to you

So again a common saying… Don’t lose hope is the moral of the story

Regards,
Jitendra (Edward Snowden)
