My discus id is StArk. I don’t want to disclose my name. I am silent reader of BA. Actually, I am not proud or delighted to share my story. I just want to give hope to at least some people who are preparing for bank exams for the last 2 years or more but couldn’t make it final. Sorry for the length.
I completed my +2 with 94% but graduation with just 65%. Passed out in 2013 (EEE) I thought I can crack GATE. After wasting one year of time I realised that GATE or IT sector are not my cup of tea. In search of Govt job finally I decided to choose Banking as my career. Till then I have no clue of what is banking is. The list of exams I have failed are
2014-15
Starting with SBI (PO, Clerk), BOB Manipal, IDBI Manipal, RBI ASSIST, SBI ASSOSCIATES PO, RRB (PO, Clerk), IBPS (PO, Clerk).
During this year, I have no proper strategy or preparation. Unable to concentrate on my exams as I was in low spirits with my personal life and my choices. IBPS clerk selected for interview but missed in to the final list by 1 mark. This time with proper preparation attempted.
2015-16
SBI PO, BOB Manipal, RRB (PO, Clerk), LIC AAO, IBPS (PO, Clerk), SBI Po
I had too many hopes on IBPS clerk as I gave my best but I was in the reserve list. I was completely shattered. Adding insult to the injury I am the first person in the reserve list. The last person who got selected and I share the same marks, the only difference is age of 28 days.
2 years of banking preparation yielded nothing and I had to wait 1 more year to get my job. Waiting for your first job after completion of 3 years of your graduation is a HELL. My parents and my two best friends encouraged me during this debacle. I am always indebted to them. Then with all my efforts appeared for SBI clerk. I am little bit slow in doing quant so I focused more on English, GA and reasoning.
Result day was very special to me and making it memorable for ever got my first job on that day. It took me 10 minutes to believe that I am in. Thanks to BA for their amazing Capsules, Quizzes, Daily GK updates. Careerpower test series helped me a lot. Whole heartedly I can say one thing, without BA I couldn’t achieve my dream. Thanks to each and every follower of BA who shared their knowledge in this wonderful platform special thanks to @Flash @Ruby @Kaashvi @Vijayraaz and @Thor.
People like me who are preparing for years please don’t give up. Gear up and put more efforts with proper planning success will be yours.
